We Are O.U.R.

Ohio Urban Renaissance (O.U.R.) is a nonprofit organization based in Youngstown, OH, and recognized by the State of Ohio through tax-exempt designation from the Internal Revenue Service accrediting our 501c3 charitable status.  The organization was founded in 2017 by small business owner and entrepreneur Kevin L. Scott and local high school teacher Ryan Forney.

The purpose of our organization is to establish and maintain an inclusive brand that serves as the foundational platform for youth outreach and community development efforts that promote positive outcomes and progressive changes in the cultural climate of the inner city.  Ohio Urban Renaissance programming structure is designed to engage,  empower, elevate, and ultimately impact the development of our youth as they transition into early adulthood.  We fit our organizational staff and volunteers with a combination of actively concerned members of the urban community and products of its respective environment.  We are an accumulation of all of our own individual trials and errors, and a sum of those collective lessons and experiences.
